Welcome & Call to Worship……………………………………………………. Elder Joe Bracewell

Leader:            We come together this morning to worship our God.

People:           We come from our separate, unique, individual lives to share with one another.

Leader:        We come knowing the promises of God and the joy of being granted a brand new day.

People:       We come giving thanks for all the gifts that God has blessed us with.

Leader:        The blessing of arms to hug – the gift of touch.

People:       The blessing of voice, to greet our neighbors, friends, and family and to speak out for those in need – the gift of sound.

Leader:       The blessing of the beauty in our world, nature, colors, faces of loved ones – the gift of sight.

People:      These are just a few of the many gifts we have been given.

Leader:       What are we going to do with our gifts?

People:      What gifts do you bring?  Will you share?

Leader:       Today, tomorrow, next week – what gifts do you bring?  Will you share?

People:      Each day we have opportunities to share our gifts to bring love and hope to those around us.

Both:         What gifts do you bring?  Will you share?

Lighting Peace Candle & Prayer for Peace……………………………….. Elder Tanya Moore

……… Lord make me an instrument of your peace.

……… Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

……… Where there is injury, pardon;

……… Where there is doubt, faith;

……… Where there is despair, hope;

……… Where there is darkness, light;

……… Where there is sadness, joy.

……… O, Divine Master,

……… Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

……… To be understood as to understand;

……… To be loved as to love.

……… For it is in giving that we receive;

……… It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

……… And it is dying that we are born to eternal life.

         Amen.                                                                                  – Saint Francis of Assisi
